The Sanhua SHF-50A-79 is a pilot-operated 4-way reversing valve that switches between cooling ↔ heating by changing the refrigerant flow direction in heat pumps and reversible systems. 50-class body — selected up to 49.2 kW with R410A (ΔP 0.1 bar) and up to 69.6 kW at higher pressure drop. According to the official datasheet, it is approved for both inverter (variable-speed) and fixed-speed systems.

4-Way Reversing Valve for Commercial Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps

The 4-way reversing valve changes the direction of the compressor discharge gas, swapping the evaporator ↔ condenser roles between the indoor and outdoor units; a single circuit provides both cooling and heating. It is the standard valve for commercial split/packaged air conditioners, rooftop units and medium-to-high capacity heat pumps. The pilot coil is NOT INCLUDED — order separately according to voltage (for 220-240 V in Turkey, a Sanhua SHF coil is suitable).

• 🔧 Cool the body with a wet cloth during brazing and keep the flame away from the slide area — the internal PTFE slide is damaged by heat.
• Install the valve horizontally (coil on top); the installation direction must follow the flow diagram on the body.
• Verify capacity against ΔP when selecting: the same valve gives 49.2 kW at 0.1 bar drop and 69.6 kW at 0.2 bar drop (R410A).
