Seals

A washing machine seal is a structural element used to reduce friction around the drum while the laundry drum in the washing machine rotates. The seal fits around the drum and allows the laundry to pass without rubbing against the drum wall while the drum rotates. A washing machine seal must be resistant to continuous friction and long-lasting; otherwise, when seals wear out or deteriorate due to friction, they can cause the laundry to be damaged or worn while the drum rotates. When seals become worn or break over time, they must be replaced.
