Danfoss KP15 Dual Pressure Switch (060-126566) – Dual Sided, Automatic Reset, SPDT + LP/HP Signal
- Stock: In Stock
- Brand: Danfoss
- Model: 19.20.045
Danfoss KP15 (code 060-126566) is a dual pressure switch that combines low pressure (LP) and high pressure (HP) protection of the refrigeration circuit in a single housing (pressure switch / pressure control). The left side monitors the suction line and the right side monitors the discharge line; when the set limits are exceeded, it stops the compressor.
Low and High Pressure Protection in a Single Housing — Automatic Reset on Both Sides
In this model, both the LP and HP sides have automatic reset: when the pressure returns to the safe range, the switch cuts back in by itself, with no need to go to the site and reset it by hand. It is preferred in unattended installations that must run continuously.
⚠️ If manual reset is required, look at a different code: In model 060-126466, which has the same dimensions and contact arrangement, the HP side has manual reset. Choose that model if you want to notice recurring high pressure faults and prevent the system from cutting back in again and again by itself — manual reset is required in applications with safety requirements. Both models are available on our website.

- 🔧 The LP setting is there to protect the compressor: When the suction pressure drops (refrigerant loss, blocked filter, closed valve), it prevents the compressor from pulling a vacuum and being damaged. If you set the differential too narrow, the compressor cuts in and out frequently (short cycling).
- 🔧 The HP setting protects the condensing side: A dirty condenser, a stopped fan or overcharging raises the pressure. The HP setting must remain below the design pressure of the system.
- Do not rely blindly on the scale: Verify it against a gauge during commissioning; turn the setting spindle in small steps.
- Do not force the capillary connections when bending them and do not connect them directly to vibrating points — this causes cracks, leaks and incorrect readings.
