Testo 565i (product code 0564 5652), used for evacuating air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump systems, is a two-stage smart vacuum pump with Bluetooth. 7 CFM (198 l/min) flow rate and 15 micron ultimate vacuum are its main ratings. Testo 552i wireless vacuum probe: when used together with it, on reaching the entered target vacuum value the pump stops pumping by itself and at the same time starts the vacuum holding test; non-condensable gases and moisture are reliably removed, and the system's tightness data is recorded.
A Pump That Stops by Itself at the Target Vacuum and Performs the Holding Test Itself
In conventional evacuation, the technician waits next to the pump, closes the valve when the target value is reached and then follows the standing test. The Testo 565i links these steps into a single workflow: the target value is entered in the Testo Smart App, evacuation starts, the pump stops when the target is reached and the holding test starts automatically. Thanks to data logging, the whole process is documented; the measurement report is sent from the app. When switched on, the pump automatically connects via Bluetooth to Testo digital manifolds and Smart Probes.
The pump is designed for safe use with flammable A2L (such as R32, R1234yf) and A3 (such as R290) class refrigerants. The check valve prevents loss of vacuum in the system in the event of an unexpected power cut. The easy oil change mechanism, the sight glass for checking the oil level quickly and the ergonomic handle make field use easier.

Technician Tips
- A vacuum probe is required for automatic stop: stopping by itself at the target and the automatic holding test work together with the Testo 552i vacuum probe; when the probe is fitted on a service valve on the system, away from the pump, the actual system vacuum is read.
- Check the oil level at first start-up: fill the pump to between Min and Max on the oil sight glass; lack of oil prevents reaching the target vacuum.
- Change the oil in time: change the oil if it becomes cloudy or emulsified; drain it while the pump is warm so that it empties completely. In moisture-laden systems, the oil needs changing more often.
- Do not start evacuating with refrigerant in the system: before connecting the pump, recover the refrigerant in the system with a suitable recovery unit; the pump is not a refrigerant transfer pump.
- Operate in a ventilated place on a level surface: leave at least 15 cm clearance from surrounding objects and do not touch the motor and body during operation; ventilate the area when working with A2L/A3 refrigerants.
