Sanhua YCVS5H03 Check Valve (One-Way Valve) – 5/8" ODF Solder, Kv 4.00, 49 bar

Sanhua YCVS5H03 is a piston-type check valve (one-way valve) that allows flow in one direction in the refrigeration line. It has a 5/8" (16 mm) ODF solder connection and a flow capacity of Kv 4.00 m³/h.

Piston-Type Check Valve That Closes Against Reverse Flow — Prevents Refrigerant Migration at Standstill

When the compressor stops, the high-pressure gas on the discharge side tends to flow back. This backflow can both turn the compressor backward and cause refrigerant migration into the crankcase — which means liquid slugging at start-up. The check valve closes this path.

In systems with parallel compressors, it prevents gas from the running compressor from escaping into the discharge line of the stopped compressor. In heat pumps and multi-evaporator circuits, it also fixes the flow direction.

The piston-type design works by a spring-loaded piston seating on its seat under reverse pressure. Because the differential pressure needed to open it is only 5 kPa (0.05 bar), it does not create a significant loss in normal flow.

• ⚠️ Flow direction is essential: the arrow on the body shows the flow direction. A check valve installed in reverse closes the line completely — always verify the direction before commissioning.
