Sanhua YCVS4H01 Check Valve (Non-Return Valve) – 1/2" ODF Solder, Kv 2.64, 49 bar

Sanhua YCVS4H01 is a piston-type check valve (non-return valve) that allows flow in a refrigeration line to pass in one direction only. It has 1/2" ODF solder connections and a flow capacity of Kv 2.64 m³/h.

Piston-Type Check Valve That Shuts Off Reverse Flow — Prevents Refrigerant Migration During Standstill

When the compressor stops, the high-pressure gas on the discharge side tends to flow back. This backflow can both run the compressor in reverse and cause refrigerant migration into the crankcase — which means liquid slugging at start-up. The check valve closes this path.

In systems with parallel compressors, it prevents gas from the running compressor from escaping into the discharge line of the stopped compressor. In heat pumps and multi-evaporator circuits, it fixes the flow direction.

The piston-type design works by a spring-loaded piston seating in its seat under reverse pressure. Since the differential pressure needed to open it is only 5 kPa (0.05 bar), it causes no significant loss in normal flow.

• ⚠️ Flow direction is essential: the arrow on the body shows the flow direction. A check valve installed backwards closes the line completely — always verify the direction before commissioning.
