Sanhua SHF(L)-11H-45D1-52 is the 4-way valve that switches between cooling and heating modes by changing the flow direction of the refrigerant in heat pump and air conditioning systems (reversing valve / changeover valve).

4-Way Valve for Cooling ↔ Heating Changeover in Heat Pumps

The valve is controlled by a pilot solenoid: when the coil is energized, the main slide changes position and the evaporator and condenser swap roles. This way a single circuit can provide both cooling and heating.

This model is suitable for both inverter (variable speed) and fixed speed systems — it is classified as "Variable & Fixed Speed" in the Sanhua table. In variable speed systems, it is important that it holds reliably (leak-tight) at part load as well.

• 🔧 Mounting position: The coil is fitted facing upward or with the body axis horizontal. The flow direction must follow the installation instructions.
• ⚠️ Always cool the body during brazing. The internal slide and seals of 4-way valves are heat-sensitive; wrap with a wet cloth, purge with nitrogen and remove the coil.
• Select by capacity: This size is Kv 4.5 m³/h. The Sanhua SHF family covers a wide capacity range from 3.6 kW to 420 kW.
