Rothenberger ROSLIM DIGITAL 40L/20m (product code 1099907), for draining condensate collected in split, cassette and ducted AC indoor units, is a mini AC condensate pump with reservoir. With its slim pump body and separate reservoir unit, it can be concealed inside the AC trunking or behind the indoor unit; with a 40 L/h flow rate, 20 meter discharge head and 16–19 dB(A) noise level, it is designed for installations where condensate cannot drain by gravity.

ROSLIM DIGITAL 40L operates in three flow modes depending on the unit capacity: low (20 L/h, 16 dB(A)), medium (30 L/h, 17 dB(A)) and high (40 L/h, 19 dB(A)); in high mode it handles the condensate of indoor units with a cooling capacity of up to 46 kW (157,000 BTU/h). The 20 meter discharge head is convenient in hotel, office and store installations where the drain line is long or has to rise. For small split air conditioners, the same family's ROSLIM DIGITAL 18L/12m (1099906) model is sufficient.

Technician Tips

• Mount the reservoir level: fix the reservoir unit horizontally below the drain outlet of the indoor unit; a tilted reservoir causes the pump to start late or run dry.
• Conceal the body in the trunking: the slim pump body fits inside the AC trunking or behind the indoor unit; fix the body with adhesive strips so that it does not vibrate.
• Keep the suction line short: the 2 m suction value is the limit under ideal installation conditions; run the hose between the reservoir and the pump short and without kinks.
• Avoid dips in the discharge line: first route the drain hose upward and then let it run with a continuous fall; water collecting in the line strains the pump unnecessarily.
• Periodic cleaning: clean the filter in the reservoir and the drain pan during maintenance; a clogged filter is the most common cause of noise and loss of flow.
