Rothenberger RO-TANK DIGITAL (product code 1099967), which collects condensate from floor-standing, cassette and ducted AC indoor units in its reservoir and pumps it away, is a tank-type AC condensate pump with reservoir. 520 L/h flow rate and 6.1 meter discharge head make it suitable for high-flow installations where the drainage of several indoor units is collected at a single point or where the drain line cannot flow by gravity.

Technician Tips

• Install the pump level: fix the reservoir horizontally; with tilted mounting the level detection is off and the pump starts late or runs frequently.
• Bring the inlet hoses to the reservoir with a fall: the drain hoses must run with a continuous fall all the way to the pump; water and sediment collecting in dips in the line cause irregular filling of the reservoir.
• Check valve and fall in the discharge line: first route the drain hose upward and then let it run with a continuous fall; in long vertical lines, water flowing back runs the pump unnecessarily.
• Use for condensate water only: according to the label warning, the pump is to be used with water only; it is not suitable for pools, outdoor use or immersion in water.
• Periodic cleaning: clean the reservoir and inlet holes during maintenance; accumulated sediment and biological contamination are the most common causes of faulty level detection.
