The Panasonic 5CF277SA04 is a 25 HP parallel (tandem-compatible) scroll compressor for R410A refrigerant. At standard air conditioning conditions (Te 7.2 °C / Tc 54.4 °C) it produces a cooling capacity of 74.1 kW (≈252,900 BTU/h); it is used for service replacements in rooftop packaged air conditioners, chillers, central HVAC and large commercial refrigeration units. Thanks to its "parallel" body design, it works not only in single use but also in multiple (tandem/trio) compressor banks.

• 🔧 Check the phase sequence. A scroll compresses in one direction only; in reverse rotation no pressure builds up and noise increases — swap two phases. Since the LRA is 282 A, select the circuit breaker/contactor accordingly.
• R410A is a high-pressure refrigerant (~34 bar condensing): Make sure the lines and fittings are rated for R410A pressure; always charge in the liquid phase.
• Ester oil absorbs moisture: Remove the compressor plugs immediately before installation, and remove moisture with a deep vacuum (≤500 micron).
• In tandem installation, connect the oil equalization line according to the manufacturer's diagram; a level difference damages the bearings.
