Compatibility, Fault Symptoms and What to Check During Replacement

• Fault symptoms: If the machine stops mid-program without draining, does not move to the spin stage or makes excessive noise/humming from the bottom, the pump may have failed or a foreign object (coin, hair clip, button, toothpick) may have got inside.
• Check the filter and impeller before replacing. In most cases the problem is not the pump itself but lint/dirt collected in the filter chamber or a foreign object jammed in the impeller. Open the filter cap and turn the impeller by hand; if it does not turn freely, clean it first.
