Cubigel NPT14RA (NPT 14 RA) is a 1/2 HP hermetic reciprocating compressor made for commercial refrigeration appliances operating at above-zero temperatures, such as beverage coolers, display cases, bottle coolers and water dispensers. It runs on R290 (propane); with a displacement of 14.32 cm³, it delivers a cooling capacity of 2,066 W (7,049 BTU/h) at ASHRAE HBP conditions.

With its P-series body, fan-cooled design and CSR (capacitor start, capacitor run) motor, the NPT14RA operates in the −15 … +10 °C evaporating range; it can be used in systems with a capillary tube or an expansion valve. At HBP ASHRAE conditions it produces high capacity efficiently with a COP of 2.69. Propane has a GWP of 3; it is a suitable option for low-charge systems not affected by F-Gas restrictions.
