Zingfa QR3-44 is a 2 HP hermetic reciprocating compressor manufactured for commercial refrigeration systems operating at plus temperatures, such as cold rooms, fruit and vegetable stores, beverage and display coolers. It runs on R404A; with its 44 cm³ cylinder volume it delivers 5,977 W (20,394 BTU/h) cooling capacity at +7.2 °C evaporating / +54.5 °C condensing. It is supplied with 380-400 V three phase; it does not require a capacitor or relay.

+7.2 °C evaporating / +54.5 °C condensing (suction gas 35 °C, subcooling 8.3 K, ambient 35 °C): 5,977 W (20,394 BTU/h) cooling capacity, 2,300 W input power, COP 2.6. Capacity decreases as the evaporating temperature falls; make your selection according to your target cabinet temperature.

• ⚡ Three-phase connection: The compressor must not be run in the reverse direction for a long time; the phase sequence and the phase protection relay must be checked. The system must have pressure, temperature, oil return, overcurrent and phase failure protections.
• 🔧 Commissioning: The system is not evacuated with the compressor; the compressor is not run without a refrigerant charge or under vacuum. Refrigerant charging must be done from the remote charging point, not from the suction/discharge line close to the compressor. Installation must be completed within 15 minutes after the connection plugs are removed.
• 🌡️ Crankcase heater: A crankcase heater (45 W) is recommended to prevent refrigerant migration during standstill; it must be energised 12 hours before the first start or after a long standstill. Liquid return must be prevented by maintaining suction line superheat.
• ⏱️ Operating pattern: To maintain the oil level, at least 10 minutes of continuous operation and at least 3 minutes of waiting between stop-start cycles are recommended. The tilt must not exceed 15° during operation.
