Ziehl-Abegg FN040-6EK.0F.V7P1 (article 152915) is a 400 mm diameter axial fan with FE2owlet sickle blades. The blade profile is derived from the aerodynamics of an owl's wing: with its serrated trailing edge and winglet tips, it produces noticeably less noise at the same airflow. The 6-pole external rotor motor runs at 950 rpm — the choice for the low-speed, quiet class in condenser and cold room units. Made in Germany.

Compared with the 4-pole (1,400 rpm) version of the same body, it produces less noise and draws less power; the 950 rpm model is standard in businesses with night-time operating restrictions, in cold rooms near residential areas and in in-store units. The motor is inside the rotor and has thermal protection (THCL 155); it comes with a guard grille and operates in suction (V) direction.
