ZET-KAR FS-399 Air Conditioner and Refrigerator System Flush Kit – Stainless Tank, with Pressure Gauge
- Stock: In Stock
- Brand: OEM
- Model: BZD 139
ZET-KAR FS-399 is a professional flush kit used to blow old compressor oil, metal particles and contamination remaining in the circuit out with pressurized solvent before a compressor replacement or refrigerant conversion (retrofit) in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. When a burnt-out compressor is replaced, debris left in the system can soon cause the new compressor to fail as well; this kit lets you clean the circuit component by component. It comes with a stainless steel tank, a pressure gauge and a safety relief valve.

FS-399 Kit Contents, Technical Values and Usage Warnings
- Flush solvent (chemical) is NOT included in the kit; the flushing fluid to be used in the circuit is supplied separately. The tank is designed for you to fill with solvent and pressurize.
- Use only on a circuit from which the refrigerant has been removed. Before starting, recover the refrigerant in accordance with regulations; do not flush while there is refrigerant in the system.
- Wear safety glasses and gloves. Pressurized solvent can spray back; never point the gun at yourself or others.
- Do not pressurize the tank until you are ready to flush, shut off the air supply before adding more solvent and never leave a pressurized tank unattended.
- Remove the orifice tube and the expansion valve from the circuit. If they are not removed during flushing, debris will clog them; in addition, the filter drier is always replaced with a new one — it is not flushed.
- Flush the components one by one (evaporator, condenser, hoses) by isolating them; the compressor and accumulator/liquid receiver are not flushed and are replaced if necessary.
- After flushing, blow out the circuit with dry nitrogen or compressed air to remove all solvent residue, then apply a deep vacuum. Remaining solvent mixes with the new oil and damages the compressor.
