The Value VRP-8DV is a two-stage (dual-stage) vacuum pump designed for monitoring deep vacuum on a gauge in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. It comes with the distinguishing features of the DV series, a built-in mechanical vacuum gauge and a built-in solenoid valve; thanks to its non-sparking design, it can be used safely with flammable HFC/HFO refrigerants such as R32 and R1234yf. With a flow rate of 226 L/min (8 CFM), it pulls the line down to 15 micron (0.2 Pa) in a short time.

Full Vacuum Control with a Built-In Vacuum Gauge and Solenoid Valve

Without connecting an external vacuum gauge, you monitor the vacuum level in real time on the 63 mm built-in gauge (class 1.6, kPa/mbar). When the pump stops, the solenoid valve automatically closes the line, holding the vacuum and preventing oil from flowing back into the system. Thanks to its inverter motor, the 11.5 kg unit runs almost silently (72 dB) and efficiently.

Key Technical Features and Equipment

  • Built-In Mechanical Vacuum Gauge: 63 mm diameter, class 1.6 accuracy, kPa/mbar scale — no external gauge required.
  • Built-In Solenoid (Anti-Backflow) Valve: Holds the vacuum when the pump stops and prevents oil backflow.
  • Two-Stage Design: Reaches an ultimate vacuum of 0.2 Pa (15 micron) with two-stage compression.
  • Non-Sparking Design: Safe use with flammable refrigerants such as R32 and R1234yf.
  • Inverter Motor: 0.55 kW (3/4 HP) — efficient, stable speed and low noise level.
  • Gas Ballast Valve: Prevents moisture from entering the pump oil, preserving oil life and vacuum quality.
  • Large Oil Sight Glass: Oil level and condition are clearly visible at a glance.
  • Multiple Inlet Connections: 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch SAE — direct compatibility with different hoses and lines.

Technician Tips

  • Use mineral vacuum pump oil with a viscosity of 68 mm²/s in this model; do not mix it with standard 46 viscosity oil.
  • The built-in vacuum gauge is for quick field checks; for jobs requiring measurement with micron accuracy, verify with a digital vacuum gauge.
  • On humid/long lines, use the gas ballast valve open and close it at the end of the process; do not run the pump if the oil temperature is below 5°C.
