Ulka EX5 Pump Motor 48 Watt

Ulka EX5 is a 48 W vibration water pump from the Italian ULKA brand that operates on a 230 V 50 Hz mains supply. In the field it is known as the Ulka pump motor or carpet washing pump; it is used to deliver water under pressure in spray-extraction carpet and upholstery cleaning machines, steam cleaners and espresso coffee machines.

The pump works with a piston moving back and forth inside the coil; there is no rotating motor or impeller inside, which is why it delivers pressurized water despite its small body. The inlet end has a Ø6 mm hose connection and the outlet end is a 1/8 inch female-threaded brass fitting.

• The pump must not be run dry; dry running quickly wears the piston and seals. After installation, make sure there is water in the tank.
