Testo 552i App-Controlled Wireless Vacuum Probe – Bluetooth Digital Vacuum Gauge, 0–20,000 Micron (0564 2552)
- Stock: In Stock
- Brand: Testo
- Model: 0564 2552
The testo 552i app-controlled wireless vacuum probe is a Bluetooth vacuum gauge used to measure vacuum in refrigeration and air conditioning systems and heat pumps through a single service port, without connecting hoses. It measures vacuum in the range of 0 … 20,000 microns; there is no refrigerant loss during measurement.
The probe has no display of its own: the value is read on the phone via the testo Smart App (iOS / Android) or on the display of the testo 550s and testo 557s digital manifolds to which it connects automatically via Bluetooth. Thanks to its integrated 45° angled connection, it attaches directly to the service port.
Where Is It Used?
- In refrigeration systems, air conditioning systems and heat pumps to monitor the vacuum level during evacuation.
- With a digital manifold: it connects automatically to the testo 550s and 557s manifolds, and the vacuum value appears on the large manifold display.
- With the testo 565i smart vacuum pump: fully automatic evacuation process with integrated hold test.
- In systems with A2L refrigerants, it can be used taking into account the relevant legislation, standards and guidelines for refrigeration systems.
Why Measure Vacuum?
Judging that a vacuum pump "has pulled enough" by its running time is a common mistake in the field. Moisture left in the system reacts with the refrigerant and oil during operation and forms acid; it leads to icing in the capillary tube and expansion valve, and over time to compressor failure. Monitoring the vacuum level in microns lets you see how the value behaves after the pump is stopped:
- If the value stays constant, the system is dry and leak-tight.
- If the value rises slowly and then stops, there is moisture inside; continue evacuating.
- If the value keeps rising, there is a leak in the system; find the leak first.
What You See in the App
- Graphical progress display of the evacuation, with start and difference value indication.
- Critical value alarm, for example by vibration of the phone.
- Creating a PDF / CSV report from the measured values and sending it by e-mail on site.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the testo 552 and the testo 552i?
The testo 552 is a stand-alone digital vacuum gauge with its own display. The testo 552i is a wireless vacuum probe without a display; the value is read in the testo Smart App on the phone or on the display of a testo digital manifold.
Which manifolds does it work with?
It connects automatically via Bluetooth to the testo 550s and testo 557s digital manifolds. The testo 552i vacuum probe is also included in the testo 558s smart vacuum kit.
Is it the same as a micron gauge?
Yes. These instruments, also called "micron gauge" or "vacuum gauge" in the field, measure vacuum in microns; the testo 552i is the wireless, app-controlled model.
