Installation and Maintenance Note for Field Refrigeration Technicians

Technician's Note: When your order reaches you, do not let the "AJ 4513 P-FZ" label on the box make you hesitate; this is exactly the same as the CAJ 9513 Z model that has stood the test of time. During installation, bearing in mind that the compressor will draw 36 Amperes (LRA) at start-up, be sure to check the contacts of the contactors in the panel and the rating of the start capacitor. Because the POE oil in the system is sensitive to moisture (hygroscopic), keep the compressor valves closed until the last moment before you start piping. In systems installed with a capillary tube or expansion valve (TXV), carry out the evacuation completely, and take care not to damage the teflon gaskets when tightening the 5/8" and 5/16" rotalock valves.
