This change, which is only a name update, makes no difference to the unit's mechanical connection points, power or mounting foot dimensions, giving service technicians a fully compatible (drop-in) replacement option in the field.

Designed for deep freezer and cold room applications requiring low evaporating temperatures (LBP), this compressor has a motor power of 3/4+ HP (approx. 0.56 kW). Technician's Note: When you see the AJ 2440 P-FZ code on new packaging, you can install it with confidence, knowing that the unit is mechanically and thermodynamically identical to the CAJ 2440 Z you have trusted for years. The 887 cm³ of POE (Polyolester) oil inside the unit is extremely sensitive to moisture; therefore, do not open the compressor plugs until the very moment you begin installation. To prevent blockages and acid formation in the system, keep the evacuation long and be sure to replace the filter drier. When tightening the Rotalock valves, make sure the gaskets are fully seated and leak-tight.
