Sporlan ERSE/BBISE-6-C Thermostatic Expansion Valve – 21 kW / 6 Ton, R404A
- Stock: In Stock
- Brand: Sporlan
- Model: ERSE/BBISE-6 C
Sporlan ERSE/BBISE-6-C is an externally equalized thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) for R404A / R507 refrigerants. With a nominal capacity of 21 kW (≈6 tons), it regulates the liquid feed to the evaporator according to the suction line superheat. It has a C thermostatic charge and, thanks to its external equalizer connection, opens correctly even on evaporators with a high pressure drop.
Sporlan TXV: The Reference Valve in the Field
- 21 kW nominal capacity — verify the selection against the Sporlan capacity table for your evaporating/condensing conditions.
- Externally equalized: The design required for evaporators with a distributor and long coils.
- Replaceable power element: On Sporlan bodies the thermostatic head can be renewed separately; the charge is changed without removing the body.
- Operating range +10 / −20 °C, non-MOP charge — the medium-temperature commercial refrigeration band.
Technical Specifications and Installation Notes
- Model: Sporlan ERSE/BBISE-6-C | Type: TXV, externally equalized
- Capacity: 21 kW / ≈6 tons (nominal)
- Refrigerant: R404A / R507 | Charge: C
- Connection: Inlet 5/8" / Outlet 7/8" — ODF solder
- 🔧 Mount the sensor (bulb) on the suction line at the 3-4 o'clock position, fasten it tightly and insulate it; a loose sensor causes the valve to open too far.
- Take the external equalizer line from the top of the suction line, 15-20 cm downstream of the sensor.
- Cool the body with a wet cloth during soldering — heat damages the power element charge.
- Do not change the superheat setting much from the factory value; in case of instability, first check the refrigerant charge and the sensor contact.
