Sanhua YCQB05L50 is a pressure sensor (transducer) that continuously measures pressure and converts it into an electrical signal in refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump circuits. With its 0 – 46 bar range, this model is made for the high pressure (HP) side of the circuit.
Ratiometric Output: No Amplifier Needed, Connects Directly to the Controller
The sensor operates ratiometrically: from a 5 V supply it produces a signal between 0.5 – 4.5 V, and this signal is directly proportional to the pressure. Even if the supply voltage drifts slightly, the output ratio is maintained, so no separate amplifier or converter is needed — it connects directly to the controller.
Difference from a pressure switch: a pressure switch only opens and closes a contact at a threshold, whereas the sensor continuously reports the numerical value of the pressure. This allows the controller to calculate superheat, adjust condenser fan speed and perform capacity control.

- 🔧 Select the correct range. This product measures 0 – 46 bar. For the other side of the circuit, use the YCQB02L50 (0–13.8 bar) model. Pressure exceeding the range ruins the measurement, while an overly wide range reduces resolution at low pressures.
- 🔧 Installation: Preferably mounted on a vertical axis with the sensor facing up. This way oil and liquid do not accumulate in the body.
- ⚠️ Verify controller compatibility. Sanhua produces this series in two output groups: 0.5-4.5 V (this product) and 0.5-3.5 V. Sanhua SEC series controllers are compatible with the 0.5-3.5 V group. Check the signal range your controller expects.
- Do not overtighten the flare connection; applying a drop of refrigeration oil to the seal surface improves sealing.
- Do not route the sensor cable in the same duct as power cables — electrical noise corrupts the measurement.
