Sanhua SBV02-319T Ball Valve with Service Port – 1/4" ODF Solder, Kv 1.9, 49 bar

Sanhua SBV02-319T is a 1/4" ODF solder ball valve with service port used in refrigeration and air conditioning lines. Its full port body does not restrict the line, it opens and closes fully with a 1/4 turn and operates bidirectionally.

Full Port Ball Valve with Service Port — Close the Line, Pull Vacuum Through the Same Valve

During servicing, compressor replacement or drier renewal, a section of the line needs to be isolated. SBV02-319T does this in a single movement: you turn the handle 90° and the line is closed. Thanks to the service port (access fitting) on the body, you can measure pressure, pull vacuum and charge refrigerant from the closed side — there is no need to braze in a separate charging fitting.

The body and ball seat are welded; there are no external gaskets or packing. This is its most notable advantage over threaded/gasketed valves that loosen and leak over the years.

• 🔑 Code reading: SBV02-319T → 3 as the first digit: the code has a service port (access fitting / charging fitting on the body). 0 as the first digit (-019T): no service port. The ending 19 indicates inch, 20 metric mm connections.
• What the service port is for: with the valve closed, it allows you to measure pressure, pull vacuum or charge refrigerant on that side of the line. It eliminates the hassle of brazing in a separate charging fitting when replacing a compressor or drier.
• ⚠️ Brazing (soldering) warning: When brazing the ODF ends, leave the valve fully open and cool the body with a wet cloth / heat paste. Excessive heat permanently damages the ball seat.
