Sanhua DPF(TS1)3.2C-30 Electronic Expansion Valve (EEV) – Kv 0.43 · 500 Steps · R32 and R290 Compatible

Sanhua DPF(TS1)3.2C-30 is a stepper motor electronic expansion valve (EEV). Instead of the mechanical balance of a thermostatic valve, it uses a 4-phase stepper motor positioned by pulses from the controller: the valve makes a full stroke in 500 steps and keeps superheat within a much narrower band.

500-Step Stepper Motor: Continuous and Precise Superheat Adjustment

A thermostatic valve (TXV) responds only to bulb pressure and can hunt when the load changes. An EEV, however, opens/closes step by step according to the actual superheat measured by the controller; it operates stably even at partial load and prevents excessive superheat and liquid flood-back. This provides significant efficiency gains in inverter systems and in units operating over a wide capacity band.

This model is the APAC (-30) version, and capacity values are published for a wide range of refrigerants including R32 and R290 — these two refrigerants are not listed for the European-coded (-01) version.

• ⚠️ The coil is sold separately. The valve body comes without a coil; this series uses the PQ-M10 coil. Coil and cable length options (700 / 1500 / 2000 mm) are available separately on our website.
• 🔧 Mounting orientation is critical: Mount the valve with the coil facing up and the rotor axis deviating no more than ±15° from vertical. If it is tilted sideways, the rotor rubs and step loss begins.
• The inlet connection should be routed from the side and the outlet downward (manufacturer recommendation).
• Cool the body with a wet cloth during soldering and remove the coil; braze with a nitrogen purge.
• A controller is required: An EEV does not work on its own — it is used with the Sanhua SEC series or a compatible EEV driver.
