Setup Note for Service Teams and Users

Technician’s Note: When handing over an air conditioner to your customer, or for units whose original remote cannot be sourced, you can set up this product and hand it over within seconds. To avoid entering codes manually, plug in the air conditioner, point the remote at the unit’s receiver (IR receiver) and hold down the F.COOL (in summer) or F.heat (in winter) button until the air conditioner beeps. Release the button as soon as you hear the sound; setup is complete. The lanyard is very handy for preventing the remote from being lost, especially in shared spaces such as hotels, guesthouses or offices.
