• The operating band specified by the manufacturer for the KELI EPM series is 2.5-8 bar pressure and 45-400 ml/min flow; the 18W model sits in the lower-middle segment of this band and is positioned for constant, low-flow steam supply. The ideal fluid for the pump is pure or softened water.
• Do not run dry. The EPM series does not have a dry running feature; a pump run with an empty water tank or a clogged scale filter will suffer piston and coil damage. Always clean the water passages and filter before installation.
• When removing the faulty pump, transfer the rubber vibration mounts on the body to the new pump; this keeps the appliance running quietly and reduces vibration fatigue on the chassis.
• The faston terminals are of standard design. Connect the wires strictly according to the appliance's original diagram and make sure the connectors are fully seated. The pump body heats up during operation; do not let the wiring harness touch the body.
• It should be used at ambient temperatures of 0-60°C. To ease suction, the pump should be mounted as far below the water tank level as possible, with the inlet nipple facing down.
