• This pump has the same mechanical connection dimensions and electrical design as the ULKA EP5. When you remove the old faulty pump, do not throw away the rubber vibration-absorbing mounts; transfer them to the new KELI pump to complete the installation. This prevents the pump from causing resonance (noise) in the appliance.
• The pump has standard female faston (spade) terminal inputs. When connecting the cables, follow the wiring of the old pump.
• Always clean the scale strainers in the appliance's water inlet hose and reservoir. A pump forced to draw water through a clogged or scaled line will overheat and lose pressure.
• On first start-up, the pump will sound loud (rattling) until the air in the system is purged; it returns to its normal operating sound once the system takes in water. Never test the pump dry for long periods.
