The Danfoss STF-5001G3 is a 4-way reversing valve that switches between cooling ↔ heating by changing the flow direction in heat pumps and reversible cooling/heating systems (Danfoss code: 061L1286). It is one of the top-end bodies in the large-capacity STF family and is used in systems up to approximately 149 kW with R407C and approximately 175 kW with R410A. It contains a main slide valve + integrated pilot valve. The solenoid coil is NOT INCLUDED — it is ordered separately (for 230V mains in Turkey, Danfoss 061L2093 / 220-240V is suitable).

4-Way Reversing Valve for Heat Pumps

The 4-way reversing valve changes the direction of the discharge gas leaving the compressor, swapping the evaporator ↔ condenser roles between the indoor and outdoor units; this way a single circuit provides both cooling and heating. The STF-5001G3 is a pilot-operated valve with copper brazed (ODF) connections.

• Protect the valve body with a wet cloth/heat-absorbing paste during brazing; excessive heat damages the internal pilot and seals.
• Braze the connections under nitrogen; confirm the correct port orientation (discharge/suction/lines) before installation.
