Danfoss NRV 28s Angleway Check Valve (020-1025) – 28 mm ODF Brazed, Kv 16.5 m³/h, 46 Bar

Danfoss NRV 28s (code 020-1025) is an angleway check valve that allows the refrigerant to pass in one direction only in refrigeration and air conditioning circuits. When the flow direction reverses, the valve closes; it prevents liquid migration when the compressor stops and backflow between parallel circuits.

One-Way Flow: Prevents Backflow and Liquid Migration

Typical locations: compressor discharge line (to prevent gas returning when it stops), the common discharge manifold of systems with parallel compressors, hot gas defrost lines, heat recovery and dual condenser circuits. The angle (90°) body combines an elbow and a valve in one piece, saving installation space and reducing extra brazed joints.

• 🔧 Mind the flow direction: The arrow on the body shows the permitted flow direction. If installed in reverse, the valve stays closed and the circuit does not work.
• Cool the body with a wet cloth while brazing — the internal spring and seal surface can be damaged by excessive heat; braze with a nitrogen purge.
• Can be mounted horizontally or vertically; in vertical mounting the flow must be upward.
