Danfoss ETS 12C-16 Colibri Electronic Expansion Valve (034G7501) | ~98 kW R410A | 5/8" ODF | Bi-Flow

The Danfoss ETS 12C-16 (code 034G7501) is a direct-drive, stepper-motor electronic expansion valve (EEV) from Danfoss’s Colibri® family. With its balanced cage design and linear flow characteristic, it precisely controls liquid injection; thanks to its bi-flow design, it operates in both directions in heat pumps without a check valve. The body is stainless steel and the connections are copper 5/8" ODF.

Colibri: Direct-Drive Stepper Motor EEV

The Colibri motor runs inside the refrigerant (direct drive without vanes or seals); there is no magnetic coupling and the risk of lost steps is low. Its broad refrigerant approval, including R290 (propane), covers all air conditioning–heat pump and refrigeration applications. It works with Danfoss EKE 1A/1B superheat controllers and standard bipolar EEV drivers; the connection cable with M12 connector is sold separately.

• 🔧 Cool the body with a wet cloth during brazing; install according to the NORMAL/REVERSE flow arrows on the valve.
• Driver parameters: 600 steps, bipolar — a wrong step count will prevent the valve from opening fully. ETS 12C is a preset profile in the EKE series.
• Moisture indicator: Use together with a filter drier for the GREEN=DRY / YELLOW=WET check on the label on the body.
