Danfoss ERC 213 Digital Thermostat Kit (080G3457) – 230V, 3 Relays, 2 x NTC 10k Sensors Included

The Danfoss ERC 213 (code 080G3457) is a digital thermostat and defrost controller developed for commercial refrigeration applications. It manages temperature control, the defrost program and fan operation in cold rooms, display cabinets and glass-door supermarket cabinets from a single device.

Kit Contents: Controller + 2 x NTC 10k Sensors — Do Not Confuse with the Version Without Sensors

This code is the "Kit Solution" version: in addition to the controller, 2 NTC 10k temperature sensors (with 1.5 m cable) come in the box. One is connected as the room (Sair) sensor and the other as the defrost (S5) sensor — you do not need to buy sensors separately.

⚠️ Caution: Danfoss’s version without sensors has a different code (080G3458). Do not confuse the two when comparing prices; the version without sensors looks cheaper, but the cost of sensors must be added.

• 🔧 16 A compressor relay = no intermediate contactor needed. A compressor of up to approximately 2 HP can be connected directly (if the motor power factor is above 0.65 at 230 V). This saves both panel space and material.
• 6 preset application profiles: during setup you can select the profile closest to your system and commission it; you do not have to enter every parameter one by one.
• The 71 × 29 mm panel cut-out is standard — the same size as most digital thermostats on the market, so it fits in place of an old device without changing the panel.
• The voltage protection function (parameters A72–A75) protects the compressor during mains fluctuations.
• ⚠️ All sensors must be of the same type. Do not mix the NTC 10k sensors in the kit with PTC or Pt1000 sensors on the same device.
• HACCP temperature monitoring: When used with an AKS 12 sensor, it complies with EN 13485 Class I.
• The front is IP65, the rear is not — the device must be mounted in a panel/enclosure and its rear protected from getting wet.
