Danfoss 034G2200 ETS / KVS Valve Connection Cable – 8 Meters, M12 Female Straight Connector

Danfoss 034G2200 is a ready-made 8-meter connection cable that connects ETS and KVS series stepper motor (electronic) expansion valves to their driver/controller. The M12 female straight connector on the valve side is pushed on and locked; the other end has free wires and is connected to the driver terminal.

8-Meter Length: You Can Install the Control Panel Away from the Valve

With stepper motor valves, cable length directly affects operating reliability. Danfoss factory cables have twisted pair conductors; this design reduces crosstalk between the conductors and the effect of external interference — as a result, it provides better protection against lost steps than ordinary cable. If your control panel is far from the valve, using the ready-made 8-meter cable directly instead of extending a cable is the safest way.

Sister product: The 2-meter version with the same connection has the code 034G2201; you can choose it for short distances. In the Danfoss catalog, 034G2200 and 034G2323 are the same product.

Wire Color Code (For Connection)

When connecting the cable to the driver, the wire colors correspond to the motor coils as follows — shown together with the official pin assignment in the 2nd image:

• Coil B: B1 = Red  ·  B2 = Green
• Coil A: A1 = White  ·  A2 = Black

• ⚠️ This color code applies only to Danfoss M12 cables. If you use a cable of another brand, verify the colors by measuring.
• 🔧 Installation check: The stepper motor coil resistances measured at 20 °C should be 10 Ω for both coils. If there is a deviation, the motor or the cable is faulty.
• Tighten the connector by hand — do not use pliers; if you crush the O-ring, the IP protection is compromised and moisture-related step loss begins.
• Do not route the cable in the same duct as power cables; interference leads to step loss and the valve remaining in the wrong position.
• Do not extend the cable: A splice both degrades the signal and creates a weak point for moisture ingress. If the distance is long, use a longer ready-made cable.
