Cubigel NUY70RAa Hermetic Compressor – 1/4 HP, R290, HBP 972 W

Cubigel NUY70RAa is a 1/4 HP hermetic reciprocating compressor made for light commercial appliances operating at positive temperatures, such as bottle coolers, beverage coolers, display cabinets and water dispensers. It runs on R290 (propane); with a displacement of 6.7 cm³ it delivers a cooling capacity of 972 W (3,316 BTU/h) at ASHRAE HMBP conditions.

Built on the U series body, the NUY70RAa can be used in both capillary tube and expansion valve systems with its fan-cooled design and CSIR (start capacitor) motor. At HMBP ASHRAE conditions it operates efficiently with COP 2.75. Propane has a GWP of 3; it is a suitable option for low-charge systems that are not affected by F-Gas restrictions.
