The refrigerator compressor — in technicians' terms the refrigerator motor — is the main part that circulates the refrigerant through the cycle. At Yedepa you can find Embraco, Danfoss (Secop), Cubigel, Tecumseh, GMCC, Danfu and Walton hermetic compressors for domestic and commercial refrigerators.
Choosing the Right Motor
Three pieces of information are enough: the refrigerant type (R600a in new-generation domestic refrigerators, R134a in older refrigerators, R404A in commercial coolers), the power (usually 1/12 – 1/4 HP for domestic use) and the label code of the existing motor. Searching the model code on the label gives the exact right part; if an equivalent is to be used, the refrigerant + HP + supply voltage must match. For vehicle, boat and caravan refrigerators, the 12/24 Volt DC series is used.
