NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) thermistors are non-linear resistors whose resistance characteristics change with temperature changes. The resistance of an NTC decreases as the temperature increases. The form of the resistance decrease is related to a constant known in the electronics industry as beta (ß). Beta is measured in °K.
