The refrigeration ball valve is a shut-off valve that keeps the line either fully open or fully closed and does not restrict the flow when open. It is used to evacuate only the relevant section of the line when replacing the compressor, filter drier, sight glass or expansion valve.

When Choosing
- Size: According to the tube outside diameter (inch or mm ODF).
- Service port: On models with a port, pressure measurement, evacuation and refrigerant charging can be done through the valve.
- Brazing: Cool the valve body with a wet cloth during brazing.
