The Artiko LX-Hose is a 90 cm three-hose service set used between the manifold and the system for refrigerant charging, evacuation and pressure measurement on air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The black-bodied hoses are distinguished by red, blue and yellow color rings at their ends; with 600 PSI working and 3000 PSI burst pressure ratings, they are used on R12, R22, R134a, R404 and R502 systems. The 90 cm length is a practical size that takes up little space in the service bag and provides low resistance during evacuation.

Set Contents, Technical Values and Usage Notes

• Color codes are standard: the blue hose connects to the low pressure (suction) side, the red hose to the high pressure (discharge) side, and the yellow hose to the center port of the manifold — that is, to the refrigerant cylinder, vacuum pump or recovery unit.
• 🚫 Do not use on R410A systems. This set is in the 600 PSI working pressure class. R410A operates at roughly 60% higher pressure; it requires an 800 PSI class hose and a 5/16" service port.
• Seal and valve core check: The rubber seals inside the fittings harden over time and leak; if you see a pressure drop on the gauge after charging, check the seals and valve cores first.
• The advantage of a short hose: 90 cm reduces flow resistance during evacuation and the amount of refrigerant left in the hose at the end of the job. For hard-to-reach installations, you can choose the 120 cm version of the same series.
• Do not kink the hoses at sharp corners, do not step on them and do not leave them in direct sunlight for long periods; cracking of the outer cover shortens the life of the inner rubber layer.
