• Flame adjustment and shut-down sequence: First open the gas valve and ignite, then slowly open the oxygen to obtain a neutral flame. When shutting down, close the gas valve first, then the oxygen valve.
• Disconnect the cylinders after use. As stated in the warning on the product, disconnect the cylinder connections at the end of the job and leave the hoses depressurized.
• Soot building up on the tip disturbs the flame; clean it gently with suitable tip cleaning wires, and do not enlarge the hole with a drill. Before work, check the connections for leaks with soap solution.
