404 Plastic Steel is a two-component (resin + hardener) clear epoxy adhesive that bonds many materials such as metal, plastic, ceramic, glass, wood, porcelain and stone strongly and permanently. When the two components are mixed in equal proportions, they cure by chemical reaction to form a hard, durable bond; it is also used for repairing breaks/cracks and filling gaps. It comes in a practical 16-gram size and is made in Turkey.

Technician Tips

• Prepare the surface: Clean and degrease the surfaces to be bonded; light sanding (roughening) noticeably improves adhesion.
• Mix equally: Mix the resin and hardener in equal proportions; apply within the short working time after mixing (before the mixture sets in the tube/on the surface).
• Wait for full curing; although initial grab occurs within minutes, full strength develops in a few hours to 1 day. Hold the parts in place during this time.
• Check suitability in advance on surfaces that flex continuously, come into contact with food or are exposed to very high temperatures.
• Avoid skin/eye contact, use in a well-ventilated area and keep away from children.
