10K Air Conditioner Heating-Cooling Thermistor Set (Room and Pipe Sensor Twin Set) - 10kΩ NTC
- Stock: In Stock
- Brand: OEM
- Model: 01 04 34
Ensuring that air conditioners operate at the correct temperature and transmitting instantaneous temperature data to the main board, the 10K Air Conditioner Heating-Cooling Thermistor Set is designed to measure room and pipe (coil) temperatures. Offering easy installation with its red and white sockets, this twin NTC sensor set enables the air conditioner to manage its heating and cooling performance with accurate temperature data.
Room and Evaporator (Pipe) Temperature Control
This set sends temperature data to the air conditioner's main board from two different critical points. The black epoxy-tipped sensor (room thermistor) measures the temperature of the room air and determines when the compressor stops and starts. The copper-tipped sensor (pipe thermistor) contacts the indoor unit evaporator pipe and keeps icing under control in cooling mode and the defrost cycle in heating mode.
Key Technical Features and Equipment
- Product Type: NTC Thermistor Temperature Sensor Set (twin set)
- Product Code: 01 04 34 (Artiko)
- Resistance Value: 10 kΩ — the value written as "10KW" on the product label does not indicate kilowatt capacity but the 10 kΩ nominal resistance. Before ordering, always verify the resistance value required by the main board/AC control board (5K, 10K, 15K, 20K).
- Package Contents: 1 copper-tipped pipe sensor, 1 black epoxy-tipped room sensor
- Connection Sockets: 2-pin red and white plug-and-play sockets compatible with the main board
- Cable Construction: Flexible, insulated black cable resistant to breaking and bending
- Application: Indoor units of split and floor-standing air conditioners with a compatible resistance value
Practical Usage Note for Technicians in the Field
Technician's Note: When the main board gives a temperature sensor error code, you can confirm the fault by measuring the resistance of the sensors; in an NTC sensor the resistance drops as the temperature rises, and an open or short-circuited sensor shows a fixed value. If one of the sensors has failed, replacing both sensors as a set gives a sounder repair so that the main board works in sync. When placing the copper sensor in its holder on the evaporator, make sure it makes full contact and that the holder is not loose; poor contact causes the air conditioner to ice up early or to defrost continuously.
