Zingfa QR3-145 Hermetic Compressor – 8 HP, R404A, Three-Phase 380 V, 20,220 W

Zingfa QR3-145 is an 8 HP hermetic reciprocating compressor made for large positive-temperature cold rooms, fruit and vegetable stores and central commercial refrigeration systems. It runs on R404A; with a 145 cm³ cylinder displacement it delivers 20,220 W (68,991 BTU/h) at +7.2 °C evaporating / +54.5 °C condensing of cooling capacity. It is supplied with 380-400 V three-phase power; it requires no capacitor or relay.

The QR3 series made by Zhejiang Ankang (Xingfa) is designed for medium and high back pressure (M/HBP) applications; it operates in the −30 … +10 °C evaporating range. It is protected by an internal motor thermal protector and an internal pressure relief valve. +7.2 °C evaporating / +54.5 °C condensing (suction gas 35 °C, subcooling 8.3 K, ambient 35 °C): 20,220 W (68,991 BTU/h) cooling capacity, 7,940 W input power, COP 2.6. Capacity decreases as the evaporating temperature drops; make your selection according to your cabinet's target temperature.

• ⚡ Three-phase connection: The compressor must not be run in reverse for long; the phase sequence and phase protection relay must be checked. The system must have pressure, temperature, oil return, overcurrent and phase failure protection.
• 🔧 Commissioning: Do not evacuate the system with the compressor; the compressor must not be run without a refrigerant charge or under vacuum. Refrigerant should be charged from a remote charging point, not from the suction/discharge line near the compressor. Installation must be completed within 15 minutes after the connection plugs are removed.
• 🌡️ Crankcase heater: A crankcase heater (45 W) is recommended to prevent refrigerant migration during shutdown; it must be energized 12 hours before the first start or after a long shutdown. Liquid return must be prevented by maintaining suction line superheat.
• ⏱️ Operating pattern: To maintain the oil level, at least 10 minutes of continuous running and at least 3 minutes between stop and start are recommended. The inclination during operation must not exceed 15°.
