Zingfa QL3-145 Hermetic Compressor – 8 HP, R404A, LBP, 3-Phase 380 V, 5,980 W

Zingfa QL3-145 is an 8 HP hermetic reciprocating compressor built for systems operating at sub-zero temperatures, such as frozen storage cold rooms, blast freezers and large-capacity freezers. It runs on R404A; with a 145 cm³ displacement it delivers 5,980 W (20,404 BTU/h) at −23.3 °C evaporating / +54.5 °C condensing (LBP) of cooling capacity. It is supplied with 380-400 V 3-phase power and requires no capacitor or relay.

It is protected by an internal motor thermal protector and an internal pressure relief valve. Rated Performance

−23.3 °C evaporating / +54.5 °C condensing (suction gas 32 °C, subcooling 22.2 K, ambient 32 °C): 5,980 W (20,404 BTU/h) cooling capacity, 3,960 W input power, COP 1.51. Capacity decreases as the evaporating temperature drops; choose according to your cabinet's target temperature.

• ⚡ 3-phase connection: The compressor must not run in reverse for long periods; check the phase sequence and the phase protection relay. The system must have pressure, temperature, oil return, overcurrent and phase failure protection.
• 🔧 Commissioning: Do not evacuate the system with the compressor; do not run the compressor without a refrigerant charge or under vacuum. Charge refrigerant from a remote charging point, not from the suction/discharge line near the compressor. After removing the connection plugs, complete installation within 15 minutes.
• 🌡️ Crankcase heater: A crankcase heater (45 W) is recommended to prevent refrigerant migration during standstill; energize it 12 hours before the first start or after a long shutdown. Maintain suction line superheat to prevent liquid floodback.
• ⏱️ Operating pattern: To maintain the oil level, at least 10 minutes of continuous running and at least 3 minutes between stop and start are recommended. The tilt must not exceed 15° during operation.
