Practical Usage Note for Technicians in the Field

Technician’s Note: When fitting the fan onto the fan motor shaft, make sure the set screw lines up exactly with the flat on the shaft. Since overtightening the screw can crack the plastic hub, a snug tightness is enough. Also, before completing installation, lightly greasing or replacing the fan bushing bearing (rubber mount) on the left side of the indoor unit will help the fan run much longer and whisper-quiet. Please confirm the length and diameter of the old fan you removed to the millimeter, with the tape measure held straight, before placing your order.
