Value VE 125N vacuum pump is a single stage vacuum pump used to evacuate air and moisture from the circuit before refrigerant charging in air conditioner installation and refrigeration service. With its 1/4 HP motor it delivers 70 L/min (2.5 CFM) at 50 Hz and reaches an ultimate vacuum of 150 microns. It is also searched for in the field as VE125N.
2.5 CFM Single Stage Vacuum Pump for Air Conditioner Installation and Refrigeration Service
It has the same compact body as the VE 115N (290 × 124 × 224 mm) but, thanks to its higher flow rate, evacuates the same circuit in a shorter time. With its 7.1 kg weight it is easily carried in the field bag. The one-piece body structure, forced oil circulation and large oil sight glass of the Value VE-N series make it easy to monitor the oil level during operation.

- Small and medium-sized commercial refrigeration circuits
- Removing air bubbles in epoxy and silicone mould casting
Technician Tips
- Oil check: before every job, check the oil level and colour through the sight glass; cloudy or foamy oil means it has absorbed moisture, and the pump cannot reach 150 microns unless it is changed.
- Hose and connection: use a short, large-bore vacuum hose; a thin, long hose reduces the flow rate and extends the evacuation time.
- Measure the vacuum: check with a digital vacuum gauge that reads microns; in air conditioning and refrigeration circuits the target is usually below 500 microns. Also watch that the value does not rise after the pump is switched off.
- Shutdown sequence: first close the valve on the circuit side or disconnect the hose, then stop the pump; this prevents oil from flowing back into the hose.
- Caution with flammable refrigerants: in systems with flammable refrigerants such as R32 and R290, prefer a spark-free (ex-proof) vacuum pump.
