Installation and Maintenance Note for Refrigeration Technicians in the Field

During installation, do not forget that the unit will start with a high Locked Rotor Amps (LRA) of 51 A; for this reason, be sure to check the ratings of the thermal contactors and start capacitors in the panel. If you are going to use POE oil with R404A or its derivative gases, do not open the valves until piping is complete so that the compressor does not absorb moisture. When tightening the 5/8" suction and 3/8" discharge valves, make sure the Teflon gaskets are not distorted, and evacuate the system deeply as usual.
