This unit contains 887 cm³ of POE (Polyolester) oil, and POE oil soaks up moisture from the air like a sponge. Therefore, never leave the compressor connections open until your pipe brazing work is finished. Since it will draw a 30 Ampere (LRA) starting current, you should select and check the thermal overload relays in the control panel to suit the 5.3A (RLA) to 8A (MCC) range. Take care not to crush the gaskets when connecting the valves, and always pull a long, deep vacuum on the system before charging refrigerant.
