The Techsun Low Pressure Gauge (Ø70 mm) is a compound pressure gauge with refrigerant temperature scales used to measure the low pressure (suction) side in split air conditioners, VRF and commercial refrigeration systems. It reads both vacuum (below atmospheric) and low positive pressure. It is connected on a manifold set or individually, and has scales for reading the evaporating temperature directly for R134a, R404A, R410A and R32 refrigerants. It is protected against impact and vibration by a blue silicone (rubber) protective boot.

The dial has a vacuum + dual bar / psi scale with R-134a / R-404A / R-410A / R-32 refrigerant temperature curves; while reading the suction pressure, the technician also sees the corresponding evaporating temperature directly. It has a 1/8" NPT bottom connection.

Technician Tips

• Connect to the low pressure side: This gauge is for the suction (low pressure) line; use the high pressure gauge for high pressure measurement.
• When pulling a vacuum, follow the negative (vacuum) range of the dial; monitor system tightness and moisture removal on this scale.
• Read the evaporating temperature corresponding to the suction pressure you read on the scale of the refrigerant you are measuring (R410A/R32/R404A/R134a).
• The blue silicone boot provides protection in the field; still, do not drop the gauge. Use a suitable gasket/PTFE tape on the 1/8" NPT connection and do not overtighten.
