- Stock: In Stock
- Brand: SARCOOL
- Model: SRF07
SARCOOL SRF07 is an EC (electronically commutated) fan motor that drives the condenser and evaporator fan in commercial refrigeration equipment; in the field it is known as the energy-saving EC Q fan fitted in place of the shaded pole Q fan motor. It operates on 100–240 V 50/60 Hz mains and runs at 1500 rpm. Its power class is 5/10/15 W: it replaces shaded pole motors with 5 and 10 W output power and draws power from the mains in the 15 W class.
The shaded pole SARCOOL SRF01 (5/33 W) and SARCOOL SRF02 (10/40 W) motors doing the same job draw 33–40 W from the mains. The EC motor meets this load with much lower power; it heats up less and gives off less heat into the cabinet.
It is the bracket-mounted type: the motor is supplied with a U-type metal mounting bracket screwed to its body. It is screwed to the unit chassis or base plate through the two holes in the bracket base; it is suitable for applications where the fan guard has no motor mounting point and the motor is supported from below. A fan blade 150–200 mm in diameter with a 28° pitch is fitted to the shaft end (fan blade not included).
The body has IP65 protection; it is suitable for the humid evaporator environment. It is connected directly to the mains with a two-wire (brown/blue) connection and does not require a separate control board.
According to the manufacturer's data sheet, it operates in −40 … +60 °C ambient; it is suitable for systems with HFC, HC (R290, R600a) and CO₂ refrigerants.

Where It Is Used
It is used as a fan drive motor in refrigerated cabinets and display cases, bottle coolers, blast freezers, cold room evaporator and condenser units and ice machines. It is preferred in place of shaded pole motors in retrofits where the aim is to reduce energy consumption and the heat load inside the cabinet.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can an EC fan motor be fitted in place of a shaded pole motor?
Yes. When the same output power class and the same fan blade size are chosen, the SRF07 is fitted in place of a 5 or 10 W shaded pole Q fan motor; its two wires are connected directly to the mains.
Should I buy the model with or without bracket?
The motor is the same; the difference is the mounting method. If the motor is to sit on the chassis or base, choose the bracket-mounted model; if it is to be attached from the front to the fan guard or panel sheet, choose the model without bracket. The SARCOOL SRF07 version without bracket is also available.
Is the fan blade included?
No, this product is the motor only. A fan blade 150–200 mm in diameter with a 28° pitch is selected separately.
Can I buy regularly with an invoice as a service company/technician?
Yes, all our sales are invoiced. All orders, including those from service companies and technicians, are placed directly through our website.
Can I return or exchange the product?
Yes. Under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 you have the right of withdrawal/return within 14 days of delivery. To avoid ordering the wrong model, we recommend that you verify compatibility before ordering.
