Sanhua SBV02-019T Ball Valve without Service Port – 1/4" ODF Solder, Kv 1.9, 49 bar

Sanhua SBV02-019T is a ball valve without service port and with 1/4" ODF solder connections used in refrigeration and air conditioning lines. Its full-bore body does not restrict the line, it opens and closes fully with a 1/4 turn and operates bi-directionally.

Full-Bore Ball Valve — Isolate the Line with a 1/4 Turn, No Pressure Loss

During service, compressor replacement or filter drier renewal, part of the line needs to be isolated. The SBV02-019T does this in one movement: turn the handle 90° and the line is closed. Thanks to the service port (access fitting) on the body, you can measure pressure, evacuate and charge refrigerant from the closed side — without having to braze on a separate charging fitting.

The body and ball seat are welded; there is no externally exposed seal or packing. This is its most notable advantage over threaded/gasketed valves that loosen and leak over the years.

• 🔑 Reading the code: SBV02-019T → codes starting with 0 have no service port. Those starting with 3 (-319T) have a service port (access fitting) on the body. The final 19 indicates inch connections, 20 indicates metric mm connections.
• If you need to measure or charge, choose the version with a port. This model has no service port on the body; to measure pressure, evacuate or charge refrigerant you need the -319T version of the same body (SBV02-319T / SBV03-319T / SBV04-319T). The version without a port is for isolation only and is more economical.
• ⚠️ Brazing warning: When brazing the ODF ends, leave the valve in the fully open position and cool the body with a wet cloth / heat paste. Excessive heat permanently damages the ball seat.
• Wrench size 19 mm — the same for all three sizes; a single wrench is enough in the field.
• Cap: the cap on the stem must remain fitted during operation; it serves as a secondary seal.
