• 🔧 Check the phase sequence. A scroll compresses in one direction only; in reverse rotation no pressure builds up and noise increases — swap two phases. Since the LRA is 167 A, select the contactor and circuit breaker accordingly.
• R407C is a zeotropic blend: Always charge in the liquid phase; charging in the vapor phase alters the blend ratio and capacity drops. After a leak, recovering and recharging is preferred over topping up.
• Ester oil absorbs moisture: Open the compressor immediately before installation and dry the system with a deep vacuum (≤500 micron); since the 3.5 L oil capacity is large, the dehydration time should be kept long.
• In tandem installation, connect the oil equalization line according to the manufacturer's diagram; a level difference damages the bearings.
• Use a crankcase heater at low ambient temperatures — liquid refrigerant mixing with the oil at cold start shortens bearing life.
